JWU offers your own personal financial planner who will help guide you through the process. Get started. You can now apply to FAFSA as early as October 1. The FAFSA code to apply for financial aid is 003404.

**Students enrolled in the College of Food Innovation & Technology (CFIT) and Dietetics & Applied Nutrition will be assessed a non-refundable uniform & toolkit fee during the first two semesters of enrollment. This fee ensures students in these programs begin their college careers with the same professional appearance and educational materials needed for a successful academic experience.
***Wildcat LEAP (Learning Effectiveness in Action Program) is a fee-based educational program designed to develop specific strategies to enhance learning. The program includes one-on-one support, small group instruction, and a three-credit course available only to LEAP participants. Refer to Student Support Services to learn more about the program.

Our Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program is structured with a student-first approach. Our total program cost includes the following benefits and services for our students at no additional cost:

CLINICAL NUTRITION & DIETETICS (MSCND)
- Per 3 credit course: $2,526
Students who have earned a signed verification statement from a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) must take 48 graduate credits; those without a DPD verification statement will need to take 54 graduate credits.

- DICAS application fee: At least $50 (DICAS charges $50 for the first program and $25 for each additional program)
- Laptop, speakers or a headset, microphone, and webcam: $1,000 (first year)

Note that the program runs a full 24-month span, including summer semester. Tuition and university fees are adjusted annually.

Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.)

Dissertation Advisement Fee: Candidates are registered and assessed fees for EDUC9011 for each semester ($1,903), including summer, until successful dissertation defense, at which time the next semester’s registration and charges will be removed.
Online Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)
- Per 3 credit course: $2,979
Dissertation Advisement Fee: Candidates will be scheduled for a Doctoral Dissertation Advisement course (RSCH 9011) which will be charged $993 per term, if they do not complete their dissertation while enrolled.

The Cost of Attendance (COA) is the estimated total amount it will cost a student to attend JWU each year. The COA includes:
- tuition & fees
- on-campus housing/food (or a housing and food allowance for off-campus students)
- transportation
- above eligible estimated expenses
- miscellaneous personal expenses
- federal loan fees

SHIP is an optional plan for eligible students without health insurance coverage. Students who do not waive the program will be responsible for payment on their JWU student account. For opt-out waiver instructions or coverage information, refer to Health Services and learn more about SHIP.
Choose from one (or a combination) of the below for 2024-25 tuition and fees including room and meals, if applicable. For questions related to your balance or payment options, contact your financial planning counselor.
- Annual payment: Pay the annual balance by July 10 (new students) and July 24 (returning students).
- Annual payment for College of Professional Studies, grad and international: July 24.
- Fall Semester payment: Pay one-half of the annual balance due by July 10 (new students) and July 24 (returning students).
- Spring Semester payment: Pay the second half of the annual balance by December 4.
- Monthly payment: Log in to jwuLink to set up monthly payments for the annual balance — the first monthly payment plus enrollment fee is due by July 10 (new students) and July 24 (returning students) — or to pay one-half of the annual balance. You’ll find all the information under the “financial” tab.
- Loan options: Apply and be approved for a Parent PLUS or Private Loan borrowed for the annual balance.
Solely for avoidance of doubt, the tuition and fees students pay the university will not be discounted, irrespective of any changes in the manner or mode of learning or changes to any activities, events, or programs (including revision, postponement, or cancellation of same) at any time during the academic year; the manner or mode of learning could include on-ground learning, remote learning, or a combination of the two; it could include fewer classes or restructured classes; and it could include changes mid-semester (as just a few examples of possible changes). Please understand that the university, like other schools, is subject to multiple factors outside of its control, including effects stemming from the pandemic and applicable local, state, and federal law and guidance related to the pandemic, which factors could significantly alter, limit, or curtail our operations.
Tuition is applicable to all students, including those on approved off-campus programs. Student health insurance, program fees, and room & board are nonrefundable, if applicable. Review the tuition refund policy.
