My father Gennaro DeMaria was the original owner of LaSalle bakery for forty years in Providence R.I.
I began working in the bakery at the age of ten years old doing odd jobs. I work at the Bakery until age 22 perfecting my baking skills of all types. working on danish, muffins, croissants, breads and cakes. I then went to work at Marriott Hotels for the next 7 years perfecting my cooking skills.
I enjoy teaching Old World Italian Pastry to student clubs, along with bread and roll production.
