Roland Sparks, DBA, is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a doctor of business administration in international business with a concentration in marketing, master of science in international business and a master of business administration. In addition, he holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of New Hampshire, is a Certified Public Manager and a licensed professional engineer. Sparks has over 15 years experience in public management, project management and engineering, 23 years of college teaching and was a small business owner.
Sparks’ current research and publications focus is on technology in marketing and includes ecommerce, international retailing, customer relationship management systems, international marketing and online learning. He earned six best paper awards for his various works in ecommerce, examining student loan debt, the financial stability of China, Government Liquidity Index, and identifying foreign direct investment opportunities. Sparks' has published in seven different journals and presented his work both in national and international conferences throughout Europe.
